“Pledge to Prepare, Awareness to Action”
NAPO has again joined forces with the Department of Homeland Security's Ready Campaign for their ninth annual National Preparedness Month (NPM), held during September. The goal is to turn awareness into action by motivating all Americans to make an emergency preparedness plan, .Being prepared goes hand-in-hand with being organized!
Unfortunately, emergencies come in many forms in addition to weather and fire. This month’s chapter meeting will focus on emergency situations pertaining to personal safety at home and as business professionals
Our speaker is Christopher Bianez As a professional speaker & trainer, and on-assignment through the Plano Police Department, Christopher promotes Safety Education by helping individuals increase the safety for their families, property, neighborhood, and businesses and helping them avoid becoming victims of crime.
In addition to hearing Christopher speak, we will be providing handouts with tips and checklists pertaining to gathering and keeping accurate records of important documents, including insurance papers, wills, and bank account information in the case of an emergency, along with wireless preparedness - including available wireless emergency alerts and apps!
The public is welcome to join us for this informative presentation to take action to better protect yourself, your family, and your information!
